The name Crew came from the simple definition-

noun: a group of persons involved in a particular kind of work or working together

Crew may make you think of a rowing crew, boat crew, landscaping crew, or even airplane crew. I thought of all of these hardworking teams when I decided to name the company Crew. I wanted a name that instilled the sense of teamwork, support and hard work.

I started Crew Business Solutions to help small businesses succeed. I have always found joy in being part of a team and being able to support others. My parents ran their own small business from our home for many years. I saw the struggles of entrepreneurship but also the rewards. Crew was started to reduce the mundane tasks that bog down business owners. Crew is here to work with small business owners to give them some of their time and life back.

I have worked in a variety of fields including, advertising sales, recreation, government contracting, landscaping, and even HVAC. I have worked in large organizations and for small businesses. I saw the need small business owners had for some support and have the experience of working with larger organizations.

I have always been a jack of all trades type of person and enjoy learning new information and love finding innovative solutions to problems. I like being creative but also get satisfaction from completing process-based tasks. I like to be busy. I work well with a full plate. But I am always eager to check off all of my "to do" tasks. And I have lots of lists and post it notes to do so on!

I started a social media marketing company earlier this year. I felt I was able to integrate my creative and social traits, as well as my caring and helping nature (see the personality tests in the portfolio section of the web page) to provide a service to help businesses succeed in a creative manner.  I decided to pivot my social media marketing business to also include administrative and networking services as I found there was a need for additional virtual tasks for small business owners.

I genuinely care about small business owners succeeding and still having time for themselves, family and friends. I treat the work I do for my clients as if it were for my own company.
